Muslim League death slogans against Hindus: BJP IT Cell Chief Amit Malviya says it cannot happen without support of State Government

New Delhi: The BJP IT Cell Chief, Amit Malviya, has come out strongly against the raising of death slogans by Muslim League activists against Hindus at Kanhangad in Kasaragod district of Kerala. The slogans were raised during a protest march by Muslim League to condemn the violence in Manipur.

The slogan raised by Muslim League activists is, “Before completing the reading of Ramayana you will be hanged in the temple premises and burned”. It must be noted that Hindus in Kerala are currently celebrating ‘Ramayana Masam’, a month long reading of the Holy Ramayana in Hindu households during the month of Karkidakam.

Amit Malviya in a tweet said that the Muslim League activists would not have dared to go this far had the Pinarayi Government not been supporting them. The BJP leader’s accusation exposed the communist government’s silent support to extremists elements in Kerala.

The BJP leader asked if Hindus and Christians in Kerala are safe. He also reminded of another incident in Alappuzha, in which a seven-year-old boy raised extremely violent slogans while sitting on his father’s shoulders in 2022. The boy was participating in a rally of Popular Front of India (PFI) with his father when he raised the slogan threatening Hindus and Christians.

The sloganeering by the boy threatened Christians and Hindus to keep rice, camphor and flowers ready for their last rites.

Amit Malviya added that Kerala is now the new pit of rabid radicalization.

The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) or Muslim League is an ally of Congress in Kerala.
