Pathanamthitta: An elderly couple was hacked to death by their son in Pathanamthitta’s Thiruvalla. The deceased were identified as Krishnankutty (72) and Sarada (70). Police took their son Anil (40) into custody for the crime. The incident that took place this morning in Parumala, Thiruvalla.
According to the police, the reason for the murder was family dispute, and the man had mental problems. The police reached the spot after being informed by the neighbours. The accused was taken into custody on the spot by the police. The police have started a preliminary investigation. Thiruvalla police registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
