Trissur: Hindu Aikya Vedi leader, RV Babu, said that the left government in Kerala is pursuing an anti-Hindu policy. He said that people are forced to protest on roads to protect their beliefs and temples.

RV Babu said that Lord Ganapathi and Lord Parashuram are being mocked. He added that Speaker, AN Shamseer, did not respond when asked if he had the courage to point out the superstitions of other religions.

The Hindu Aikya Vedi leader also said that when the CPI(M) party secretary tried to change his stand on the Lord Ganapathi issue, the son-in-law, referring to Minister Muhammed Riyas intervened and did not allow the party to change its strong anti-Hindu stance.

Both, AN Shamseer and Minister Muhammed Riyas are saying that they would not change the anti-Hindu remarks made against Lord Ganapathi, said the Hindu Aikya Vedi leader.

He alleged that the courage of the son-in-law comes from the support given by fundamental religious groups.

RV Babu also cited the former insults made by CPI(M) leaders against Hindu beliefs and Gods. Earlier, CPI(M) leader and former MLA, M Swaraj had insulted Lord Ayyappa saying that he had lost his celibacy. He mocked the Hindu community by saying that Lord Ayyappa’s marriage got over.

Another CPI(M) leader and former Minister, PK Sreemathy had insulted Hindu women when she said that Hindu women go to temple to attract men.

The CPI(M) led government had also given an award to the novel ‘Meesha’ which contained highly vulgar and offensive references to Hindus.
