New Delhi: In a recent announcement, a total of 954 individuals have been selected for the prestigious Police Medal. Notably, 124 of these commendations were bestowed upon exceptional officers for their diligent investigations into Maoist activities, reflecting their commitment to maintaining public safety and order.
Hailing from the Kerala Police, nine deserving individuals have been honoured with the Police Medal for their exemplary and meritorious service. Among the award recipients, SP R. Mahesh was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for his unwavering dedication and commitment.
ASP Sony Oommen Koshy, DYSP C. R. Santhosh, CI G. R. Ajeesh, ASI R. Jayashankar, ASI S. Sreekumar, Armed Police Inspector N. Ganesh Kumar, P. K. Sathyan (Cyber Cell), Armed Police SI N. S. Rajagopal, and SHO M. Biju Paulose have each earned well-deserved police medals for their remarkable contributions to the force.
