Wayanad: Thamarassery Churam continues to experience traffic disruption as a result of a wood-loaded truck becoming stuck. Last night, the truck got stuck at the 7th bend of the churam. A long queue of vehicles has formed on the churam since midnight. As the Onam holiday has started, passengers have been experiencing hours-long traffic jams and are currently stuck.
Currently, a greater number of vehicles are passing through the churam than it can handle. In addition to vehicular traffic, uprooted trees and falling rocks are also causing traffic jams.
