Palakkad: A car accident in Tamil Nadu has claimed the lives of a father and his son from Palakkad. Parameswaran (48), and his 21-year-old son Rohit, hailing from Meenakshipuram, tragically lost their lives in the incident. The accident occurred as they were returning to home from Bengaluru.
The unfortunate collision took place when the car driven by Rohit collided with the rear of a pickup truck that was travelling ahead of them. Despite efforts to rush them to Pollachi Hospital for medical attention, both Parameswaran and Rohit succumbed to their injuries. The bodies have been transferred to the Pollachi Government Hospital for post-mortem procedures.
Natives of Meenakshipuram, Parameswaran and his family had been residing in Pollachi for several years. Their trip to Bengaluru was in connection with Rohit’s studies.
