NIA issues lookout notice for banned group ‘Popular Front of India’ leaders in Palakkad district

PALAKKAD: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued a lookout notice for leaders associated with the banned terrorist organization, Popular Front of India. The lookout notice has been circulated in the vicinity of the Shoranur railway station and its surroundings in Palakkad district.

The list of accused individuals includes native Palakkad residents such as Abdul Rasheed (32), Mohammedali (42), Shahul Shameed (54), Mohammed Mansoor (41), as well as Abdul Wahab (36) from Ernakulam. Of these individuals, five hail from various regions, including Pattambi, Cherpulassery, and Ernakulam district. The identity of one individual remains unascertained.

A reward of lakhs has been announced for those who provide information regarding the accused. Additionally, a reward of Rs 7 lakh will be offered for information about the individual whose name and details are currently unavailable.

The lookout notice poster emphasizes that the identities of informants will be kept confidential. Contact details for the NIA Kochi office are provided in the notice for those wishing to contact.
