THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Left Democratic Front (LDF) convener E.P. Jayarajan has refuted all the claims made by advocate Feni Balakrishnan, the lawyer representing the complainant in the solar case. Jayarajan stated that he is not familiar with Feni Balakrishnan and emphasized that he operates with a high level of political consciousness.
EP Jayarajan further emphasized that the media should not compromise the standards of leadership merely based on someone’s statements. He said this during an interaction with the media in Delhi.
Regarding Feni’s statement made in a press conference yesterday, Jayarajan denied any involvement as claimed by Feni. He also suggested that there might be someone behind Feni’s accusations. However, Jayarajan’s statements regarding the Kollam guest house have raised some contradictions.
Initially, Jayarajan stated that he had not stayed at the Kollam guest house, but later, he admitted to staying there twice. EP Jayarajan also stated that there is someone behind Feni Balakrishnan, aiming to place blame on Jayarajan in the matter.
In Feni Balakrishnan’s press conference yesterday, he alleged that EP Jayarajan had driven him to the Kollam guest house in a car with the intention of overthrowing the Oommen Chandy government. Feni also claimed that Jayarajan had made certain offers to facilitate the overthrow of the Oommen Chandy government.
