ERNAKULAM: A group of four individuals attacked a Right to Information (RTI) activist. RTI activist KT Cheshire was assaulted by the group in Ernakulam district. The incident took place near Kaniyampuzha Bridge in Tripunithura.
The assaulters viciously attacked Cheshire, resulting in the fracture of his arm and legs. Cheshire, who sustained severe injuries in the attack, was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Tripunithura.
In response to the incident, the police have registered a case of attempted murder and initiated an investigation.
