Thiruvananthapuram: Four differently abled students from the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) were arrested by the Chadayamangalam police for allegedly obstructing the Chief Minister’s motorcade.
The incident occurred last night near Chadayamangalam, Kollam, where the students, unable to hear or speak, were taken into custody. The police apprehended them after their vehicle allegedly failed to stop despite repeated honking. The students were brought to the police station for further investigation.
According to the police, the students were arrested due to suspicion arising from their failure to pull over despite multiple attempts to alert them. No formal charges were filed against the students, and the police subsequently released them to NISH authorities.
