THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cargo ship Zhen Hua 15 is set to return today from Vizhinjam International Port in Thiruvananthapuram. After unloading all three huge cranes intended for the Vizhinjam port, the cargo ship will be on its way today.
Yesterday evening, the super-post-Panamax crane, weighing over 1100 tons, was successfully berthed from the cargo ship.
According to the agreement, Zhen Hua 15 was supposed to return by October 21. However, due to adverse weather conditions, the unloading of the cranes onto the shore was delayed.
Furthermore, the ZHEN HUA 29, carrying six yards bound for Vizhinjam port, is expected to arrive on November 9. ZHEN HUA 29 embarked from China with Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes for Vizhinjam International Port in Thiruvananthapuram.
