Kochi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has received shocking evidence that the ISIS hatched a conspiracy to eliminate RSS-BJP leaders in Kerala.

The evidence includes voice messages sent by ISIS operatives related to the conspiracy. The NIA has submitted the evidences to the NIA court. According to the agency the Islamic State were mainly targeting RSS leader Valsan Thillankeri and Hindu Aikya Vedi President K. P. Sasikala Teacher.

In addition to RSS-BJP leaders, the outfit also planned to strike at Israeli tourists visiting South India. The ISIS was planning to use poisonous gas to kill Israeli citizens in India in large numbers.

The ISIS had planned to bomb a Jewish synagogue earlier but security agencies found about the conspiracy and thwarted their efforts. Security has been tightened around synagogues since then.

The NIA has found that all the conspirators are those accused in the 2016 Kanaka Mala case in which ISIS operatives held a  secret meeting to hatch plans to spread terror activities across the state.

The ISIS had also planned to attack a few ABVP leaders in the state. The terrorists used coded language to communicate with each other and also took the help of mobile apps like Telegram to keep in touch and rely information between the operatives.
