Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, has said that the government is bound to protect any women who come to enter Sabarimala. He added that no one can block a woman who comes on her own from entering the shrine.
After a brief silence by the communist party during the elections, the party has begun its anti-Hindu stance in the state. Last week the government tried to take Bindhu Amini to the holy shrine but was thwarted by Ayyappa devotees who protested against the move.
She was later send back home by the police saying that they are unable to provide protection for her.
He said that he will continue with his arrogance to follow the verdict of the Supreme Court in Sabarimala case. The opposition had asked the Chief Minister to shed his arrogance and also demanded his resignation citing the huge failure of the communist party at the polls.
The Chief Minister also said that the recent devastating failure of the communist party at the polls was temporary and asked those who were celebrating the victory of their candidates not to rejoice too much.
