Wayanad: The police have received a report saying that the CPI (Maoist) is planning to recruit youths to the communist terror organization. For the execution of the plan, a Central Committee Member of the organization has already reached Kerala, according to the report.
The aim of CPI(Maoist) is to recruit more youths from various student and youth organizations functioning in the state. After recruitment, these youths will be given training in Guerilla warfare. The Maoist terrorist, Jaleel, who was killed in a shootout at Vythiri was a member of a communist youth organization before joining the CPI(Maoist).
The main aim of the Maoists is to create a favorable environment for them in Kerala through these youths. The police are taking the necessary steps to counter the threat of Maoists. Security arrangements have been beefed up in the forested areas of Wayanad and Kozhikode districts.
