Alappuzha: The body of a fisherman who went missing in the sea while fishing has been found. The body of Punnapra resident Cyrus was found by the workers on a boat near Vadappozhi in Vadackal.
Local residents had alleged that there was a failure in the search conducted after the fisherman went missing. After this, MLA H Salam was stopped and the road was blocked. Even hours passed after the worker went missing while fishing, the government did not intervene. Following this, the locals protested.
At around 11:30 am, Cyrus’s boat was found grounded near Matsyagandi in Vadackal. Residents pointed out that the fishery boat arrived several hours after the fisherman went missing for the search.
