Kozhikode: The luxury bus using the Chief Minister and ministers during the Nava Kerala Sadas faced technical issues in Kozhikode, prompting a comprehensive maintenance. The repairs included the replacement of windows and servicing of the air conditioning system.
During the journey, the bus faced a challenging situation when it became stuck in the mud at Mananthavady in Wayanad. Despite the initial attempt to navigate the bus through a crowd-control barricade towards the stage, the tyres began spinning in the mud. Subsequently, with both front and rear tyres lodged in the mud, dedicated efforts from police officers and commandos were required to push the bus to solid ground.
