Thiruvananthapuram: The police have urged the public to share any relevant information by calling the police control room by dailing12 instead of spreading speculations about the six-year-old girl who was kidnapped from Oyoor, Kollam, yesterday evening.
Over 16 hours since the abduction, the police are working harder to find the missing child. South Region Inspector General G Sparjan Kumar shared that they have important information. The investigation focuses on checking CCTV footage and cyber data. Teams are searching different areas in the state, but details are kept private for now.
Three individuals were taken into custody in Thiruvananthapuram based on suspicions raised by the investigation team. Subsequently, a thorough inspection was carried out at a car washing center in Sreekanteswaram. Reports suggest that money and documents were recovered from the washing center during the inspection.
