‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ directs to mention ‘Petition’ instead of ‘Complaints’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government has prohibited the submission of ‘complaints’ to the ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ campaign programme. Instead, it is recommended that applications submitted by the public, detailing their demands and grievances, should be labeled as ‘Petitions or Pleas’ rather than complaints.

Furthermore, it is advised not to label the counters that receive applications and grievance reports as ‘Complaint cells’. In recent review meetings, higher officials have orally instructed the avoidance of the term ‘formal complaint’ for grievance applications submitted to the ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ campaign programme. In the strange directive, they have also emphasized the necessity to limit the number of pages in the application letter.

Notably, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, speaking yesterday in Pala, Kottayam district, highlighted that the primary aim of the ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ programme is not to entertain complaints. He emphasized that the agenda of the campaign is to inform the public about the state government’s initiatives and actions for their welfare.

Pinarayi Vijayan also mentioned that there are other options for filing complaints, emphasizing that ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’ is intended to raise public awareness about the government’s projects initiated in Kerala.
