Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh announced on Thursday that the Prime Minister will inaugurate the airport on December 30.

Speaking to the media, Jaiveer Singh further mentioned that PM Modi would inaugurate the Ayodhya Airport on December 30, 2023, and it is anticipated to commence operations from January 5, 2024.

Today, a successful trial run and tests were conducted at 3 p.m., where Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft landed successfully.

Earlier, on December 14, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had granted the Aerodrome License to Ayodhya Airport. Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), received the license from Vikram Dev Dutt, DG of DGCA, in New Delhi on December 14.
