Thiruvananthapuram: The Yuva Morcha staged a march to the Secretariat in response to the alleged police beating of activists during the Nava Kerala March. Tensions escalated during the protest at the Secretariat, leading to a confrontation between the police and activists. As the protest intensified, police deployed water cannons against the activists. The State President of Yuva Morcha, Praphul Krishnan, expressed his dissent by climbing on top of the barricades.

Praphul Krishnan expressed strong opposition, asserting that the CPI(M) should recognize that they are dealing with the Yuva Morcha. He criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, dubbing him the most ridiculous Chief Minister of Kerala. Praphul Krishnan sarcastically remarked that there are individuals within the police force displaying clear political affiliations. In his speech the march, Praphul Krishnan accused the government of functioning through illicit means, including the use of black money.

The Nava Kerala Sadas, hosted by the Chief Minister and State Ministers, will conclude today in Thiruvananthapuram. Simultaneously, Yuva Morcha took a strong stand by organizing a protest against the police assault on their activists during the Nava Kerala March.
