New Delhi: The Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, issued a strict warning to those who are responsible for the recent attack on merchant vessels MV Chem Pluto and MV Said Baba. He said that the government of Bharat has taken the issue seriously and warned that the perpetrators will be found even from the bottom of the seas and strong action will be taken against them.
MV Chem Pluto was attacked by drone in the high seas about 200 nautical miles from the coast of Gujarat. The Indian Navy quickly responded to the ship in distress and has escorted it to Indian coast. Twenty members of the crew are from India.
The Defence Minister while issuing the warnings said that there are some who are getting jealous of Bharat’s rising power. He said that the government has taken the attack seriously and promised to pursue the mastermind even to the depths of the seas and strong action taken against them.
The Indian Navy has already deployed three warships in the region to counter such attacks in the future.
