Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Arif Mohammed Khan is set to return to Kerala today, reaching Thiruvananthapuram at 6:30 pm. In anticipation of the Governor’s arrival, robust security arrangements have been put in place throughout the state. However, the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) has announced plans to stage a protest against the Governor.
Governor Khan is expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony of new ministers scheduled for tomorrow. KB Ganesh Kumar and Kadannappalli Ramachandran are slated to take the oath as ministers following the resignations of Minister for Ports, Ahammad Devarkovil and Minister for Transport, Antony Raju.
