Thiruvananthapuram: Expressing joy at the Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration ceremony to be held tomorrow, the Christian Association and Alliance for Social Change (CASA) has given the call to all Christians to light candles at homes during the consecration ceremony. CASA said that candles symbolizing religious harmony must be lit during the ceremony to celebrate justice and redemption.
CASA said that it is important for the Christian community to align with Hindu community for democracy and secularism to prevail. The CASA gave its call to Christian community on its social media page.
The Christian organization also said that the reclaiming of Ram Janmabhoomi gives hope for the reclaiming of Hagia Sophia Church in Turkey, which was converted to a Mosque recently. CASA reminded that places of worship were destroyed wherever Islamic conquests took place. Islamists destroyed places of worship of non-believers and erected mosques in its place. Sometimes they converted the worship places of the conquered people and turned it into a mosque.
CASA added that tomorrow is a great day when the decedents of a people serve justice to their ancestors, who suffered pain five hundred years ago, when the birthplace of their Lord was captured and conquered.
CASA said in its social media post that every citizen of Bharat, who believes in democracy, secularism and religious harmony, can feel proud of it. Let us all light a candle, which dispels darkness, and convey our greetings to the consecration ceremony to be held tomorrow, said CASA.
CASA is a religious organization, which has been working for the welfare and security of the Christian community. The organization has been very vocal against love Jihad and other forms of Islamic terrorism.
