Thiruvananthapuram: The Director of General Education for the state of Kerala declared a holiday for schools on January 27. This decision was made in light of a teachers’ cluster meeting. The holiday is applicable to classes 1 to 10. The order regarding school holidays was issued by the Director of Public Education.
As a result, schools in the state will be closed for three consecutive days. Friday, January 26, is a holiday in observance of Republic Day. Since Saturday is also a holiday for the cluster meeting, and the 28th is a Sunday, schools in the state will remain closed for three consecutive days.
