Idukki: More truths are coming out each day as inquiry on Nedumkandam Rajkumar’s custodial death progresses. And the recent one is the statement of the Medical Superintendent. Rajkumar was brought to the hospital after his death. Medical Supt. informed Crime Branch that Rajkumar had died at least one hour before he was taken to hospital. Medical Superintendent had already mentioned the matter in his medical report.
Crime Branch has handed over the investigation report to IG Gopesh Agarwal. More accused will be arrested today.
Meantime, Police Complaints Authority will consider P T Thomas’s complaint on Ninth of next month. Time has been provided to produce more evidence. P T Thomas told media that he will hand over proofs of former SP K B Venugopal’s illegal activities. P T Thomas also demanded that as Police Complaints Authority’s rights are limited, an independent agency should enquire the matter.
