Kollam: Governor Arif Mohammed Khan is continuing his sit-in protest in public against the SFI attackers. He has already given a complaint to the Union Home Secretary about the SFI attack against him. Reports say that he has also asked his officials to call the Prime Minister to inform him about the situation.
The Governor asked the police why they did not take the SFI attackers into preventive custody even after knowing about the attack. The police said they took twelve protesters into custody. However, the attackers were around fifty in number including women protesters. The police sprung in to action only after the Governor got out of his car and accused the police of inaction.
The Governor has been sitting in front of a tea shop to protest against the attack.
