Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State President K Surendran criticized top Congress leaders alongside CM Pinarayi and his daughter in the monthly payment issue. In a press meet, K Surendran said that Veena Vijayan created a fake company intended for laundering black money.
“Veena Vijayan is involved in many bogus companies and transactions. Everyone knows this within the party itself. The CPI(M) is afraid that all this will come out. There is no doubt that the top leaders of Congress and CPI(M) will be caught if the investigation into the monthly payment case brings out the truth. When the ED conducted the investigation of Karuvannur Cooperative Bank, 32 accounts were held in the name of CPI(M) leaders in Thrissur district alone. CPI(M) also got its share of corruption,” K Surendran said.
“Attempting to sabotage the investigation by threatening central agencies will have dire consequences. It is false propaganda by the CPI(M) that the Center is ignoring Kerala. VD Satheesan is the one who wanted the monthly payment issue not to come up in the Assembly. The opposition leader tried to erase the case. It was not a corruption case of Rs 1.72 crore but a corruption of Rs 96 crores,” K Surendran added.
“CPI(M) and Congress have become a shameless class that takes monthly payment from the monopoly capitalists without any shame. Congress has no right to speak about LDF’s corruption. Govindan Master and Sitaram Yechury are working with the corruption money of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan,” K Surendran remarked. Surendran also criticized that the LDF and the UDF were moving forward on mutual understanding.
