New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute more than one lakh appointment letters to newly recruited individuals today via video conferencing.

In addition to distributing the appointment letters, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Phase I of the Integrated Complex named ‘Karmayogi Bhavan’ in the national capital.

The Rozgar Mela marks a significant step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to giving the highest priority to employment generation in the country. This event will be held at 47 locations nationwide with the aim of providing central government jobs to 10 lakh people within a year. Recruitments are being conducted across various Central Government Departments and State Governments/Union Territories to support this initiative.

The Rozgar Mela is expected to further leverage employment generation and provide valuable opportunities for the youth, empowering them to directly participate in National Development.

The newly recruited individuals will join various Ministries/Departments including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Higher Education, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Defence, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and Ministry of Railways in various positions, as stated by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Furthermore, the newly appointed individuals will have the opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 880 e-learning courses are provided in an ‘anywhere, any device’ learning format.
