Chennai: Popular Tamil film actor Sarathkumar praised the BJP-led central government for its effective governance, emphasizing its dedication to serving the people’s interests. Sarathkumar added that now Bharath citizens are gaining more respect in foreign countries because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sarathkumar also remarked about the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Sarathkumar made these statements during a media interview.
He stated that the opposition parties’ false propaganda about the BJP, portraying it as solely disseminating Hindutva messages, is incorrect. Sarathkumar also said that BJP’s governance is for the country’s interest and development. Citizens are now getting more respect and recognition in foreign countries also. “We are getting more respect now than when we went to America 15 years ago. People of the country have to understand this,” he said.
Sarathkumar then condemned the recent incident where Tamil actor Rajinikanth had to face criticism for his visit to the Ayodhya Ram Temple, labeling it as cheap politics. He also stated that he will visit the Ayodhya Ram Temple and there is nothing wrong in it. “It is everyone’s right to visit temples as per their wishes and beliefs,” Sarathkumar added.
