Wayanad: The police have intensified their investigation into the death of Siddharth, a student at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Pookode. Collaborating with the Cyber Cell, Vythiri Police are meticulously examining the phones of the accused, probing for potential digital evidence. Specifically, authorities are scrutinizing whether the accused captured images of Siddharth’s assault. Additionally, they will analyze the messages exchanged among the accused after the death of Siddharth.
Meanwhile, the police have taken the statement of Akshay, Siddharth’s classmate and SFI office bearer, regarding the circumstances surrounding Siddharth’s death. Allegations leveled against Akshay by Siddharth’s family prompted this action. Akshay’s testimony shed light on the mob lynching and assault allegedly perpetrated by members of SFI.
Today, the police are slated to take custody of five individuals suspected of involvement in Siddharth’s death. Sinjo, Kashinathan, Ameen Akbar Ali, Arun, and Amal are believed to have played a significant role in the brutal assault on Siddharth, according to police assessments.
