The approach of Kerala CM in Siddharth’s case is unforgivable, states ABVP

Thiruvananthapuram: ABVP State Secretary EU Eswaraprasad said that the approach of the Chief Minister who did not visit the house of Siddharth even after 22 days of his death is unforgivable.

“It is unfortunate that Siddharth’s father had to meet the Chief Minister for a CBI investigation on Siddharth’s death. During our every visit to Siddharth’s house in the past few days, his father kept saying that he had no faith in the current investigation by the Kerala Police and wanted a CBI probe. While the family kept raising demands related to the investigation in front of every media, the government and police were busy protecting the accused,” said Eswaraprasad.

“Taking up the issue first, ABVP went ahead with the protests standing by the demands of the family. ABVP boycotted the dean on February 22 which was followed by a hunger strike in front of the college and Secretariat. Protest programs were organized in colleges nationwide. Along with that, a long march, ‘Chalo Secretariat’, was organized from Siddharth’s house in Nedumangad to Secretariat, to demand justice for Siddharth,” the ABVP leader stated.

“ABVP demands that apart from the 18 SFI members, who were arrested, a student named Akshay (who is suspected to be involved in the case), the suspended Dean and the Assistant Warden should also be arrested,” said ABVP State Secretary EU Eswaraprasad.

Eswaraprasad added that in the coming days, ABVP will organize programs against the violence perpetrated by SFI in the shadow of the leftist ecosystem in the campuses of Kerala, and against the dictatorial activities perpetrated by SFI in colleges and hostels.
