KSRTC to start driving schools at 22 places in the state

Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC is all set to start driving schools in 22 places across the state, including test grounds. KSRTC MD Pramoj Shankar has instructed officials in this regard. It has been decided to commence the driving schools by March 30. Depot Heads have been urgently instructed to obtain the MVD driving school license by providing basic facilities within this time frame.

Applications should be submitted online immediately, along with the necessary documents. Facilities such as classrooms, training halls, vehicles, offices, parking, and testing grounds are to be prepared. Trainers should also be appointed. Central and Regional Workshop Heads are responsible for setting up the necessary machinery for the training halls.

The training vehicles will be fitted with a dual control system ie., clutch brake within two weeks. The Head of Thiruvananthapuram Staff Training College will be in charge to supervise this. Driving schools will be established in Attakulangara, Edappal, Angamaly, Parassala, Eanchakkal, Anayara, Attingal, Chathannoor, Chadayamangalam, Mavelikara, Pandalam, Pala, Kumily, Angamaly, Perumbavoor, Chalakudy, Nilambur, Ponnani, Chittoor, Kozhikode, Mananthavady, Thalassery, and Kanhangad.
