New Delhi: Army Chief Gen MM Naravane is scheduled to visit Leh, headquarters of 14 Corps, on Tuesday for a security review of the sensitive Ladakh sector.
The Army Chief is currently in New Delhi for the Army Commanders’ Conference and once it gets over, he will proceed to Leh to review the on-ground situation and the progress in talks with the Chinese military.
In Leh, senior officers will brief Naravane on latest developments along the LAC and progress in military dialogue with China. He will also interact with soldiers according to reports.
Naravane is visiting Leh a day after top military commanders from the two sides held a marathon meeting at Moldo on the Chinese side of the LAC with a focus on cooling tensions and thinning the build-up on both sides of the border.
