In a daredevil sea-air coordinated Operation in inclement weather and rough sea conditions, the Indian Coast Guard on Thursday rescued 16 crew members from aground barge MV Mangalam near Revdanda village off Mumbai.
The ICG deployed two Chetak helicopters ex-Daman and ship Subhadra Kumari Chauhan rescued the stuck crew members from MV Mangalam reported aground, the ICG spokesperson said.
All crew members have been rescued and are safe, he added.
