Srinagar: The Indian security forces clashed with the terrorists in the Shirmal area of Shopian. The Jammu Kashmir police informed that the encounter is still continuing.
Earlier, a Lashkar-E-Taiba terrorist, who played a key role in the assassination of a bank manager, had killed in the Shopian region. The incident took place on June 15.
Figures show that the forces killed 118 people including 32 foreign terrorists so far, this year. Of these, 77 were trained from Pakistan.
Kashmir police informed that 55 terrorists including 2 foreigners were killed last year.
