New Delhi: India is about to cross the heights of defence fields, when the giants in defence, US and Australia, came forward to get the Tejas aircraft. India’s Tejas aircraft, which is being developed under the make in India project, has got approved by everyone.
Small and at the same time most efficient aircraft are considered to be very useful in all terrain of the defence. It is also identified that the two seater Indian aircraft would be useful to give training in all academies in all countries.
NCA Tejas is an Indian made multipurpose aircraft. The strike capacity of Tejas was tested by travelling 900 to 1000 kms/hr. The test was carried out by dropping missiles and bombs from the aircraft. The aircraft has been made with a capacity to attack and destroy the enemies even in the most adverse situations.
Currently, the Air Force has two squadron Tejas aircrafts. An agreement of 83 Theas aircrafts was signed last year and by 2030 the aircrafts will be supplied completely. Following this, Tejas is getting ready for international sales.
