Gurdaspur: Army has intensified drone search in various border areas of Punjab. Though the forces fired at the drones that were found crossing the Pakistan border, it was not confirmed whether it fell down or not. The army has concluded that two drones crossed the border with drugs.
The search has been extended to the Dera Baba Nanak region, which is the border area of BSF. Prabhakar Joshi, DIG, BSF is leading the military operation.
It has been concluded that the drones crossed the border in the area of BSF’s Chaandu Wadla and Kasowal posts. Although lights were seen at night, the drones have not yet been found in subsequent searches. At 10.30 pm and 12 pm, the army received information about the drones flying in different areas.
