Jammu: Security forces killed terrorists on the border. Three terrorists were killed during the border clash held in Shopian district. The encounter took place today morning. Those who killed were identified as the members of the banned terrorist organisation, Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The clash took place in Munj Marg area of Jammu’s Shopian district. It is reported that the encounter is still going on. The police have identified the two terrorists who were killed. Police said efforts to identify the man are ongoing and more information is yet to be received.
The killed terroris, Latif Lone, an accused in the murder case of Kashmiri Pandit Puran Krishna Bhat, and Umar Nazir, who killed Bahadur Thapa in Nepal, were killed in the encounter with the security forces. A gun and other weapons were recovered from the terrorists.
