New Delhi: Bollywood star Preity Zinta, on Monday, posted on Instagram, images of the ‘Mundan Ceremony’ of her children Jai and Gia. The actress wrote, “So the Mundan ceremony finally happened this weekend.” While describing the significance of the ceremony in her message, she added, “For Hindus, the first shaving off of hair for babies is considered to be a gesture of purification from the memory of their previous births and freedom from the past. Here are Jai and Gia post their mundan ceremony. ”
Preity Zinta regularly shares the details of her twins on social media. Recently, the actor had shared pictures of her visit to India and visiting Hateshwari Mata Temple in Shimla with her children.
Preity Zinta got married to Gene Goodenough in 2016. Though she relocated to Los Angeles, she continues to make trips to India. In 2021, the couple welcomed twins through surrogacy. Preity traveled to India in May with her husband Gene and their children, and she shared this post from Himachal. “My kind of heaven. The last couple of days have been amazing. Mountains, family, clean air amid a digital detox. No better sound than hearing… Mama… mama for the first time from the kiddos. This really is heaven.”
Preity Zinta is best known for her roles in a variety of movies, including Veer-Zaara, Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Salaam Namaste, and Dil Se. Preity Zinta last appeared in the 2018 film Bhaiaji Superhit. She also appeared in one episode of the Fresh Off The Boat series on ABC in a minor role.
