New Delhi: Yami Gautam’s much-awaited film ‘Article 370’ is all set to grace the silver screens tomorrow (February 23). Directed by debutant Aditya Jambhale, the film has already garnered significant attention and success even before its official release.
With advance bookings soaring, the film has amassed an impressive Rs 39.68 lakh. Meanwhile, 11,000 tickets for ‘Article 370’ have been sold on PVR Inox alone today, indicating strong pre-release anticipation. Across Bharat, a total of 35,156 tickets were sold on the first day itself.
The film tells the story of the Prime Minister’s decision to abrogate Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. It narrates the story of the central government’s efforts to end separatism and terrorism in Kashmir by revoking the law, along with the subsequent developments.
Starring Arun Govil as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Yami Gautam and Priya Mani in lead roles, ‘Article 370’ is poised to make waves at the box office. Reports suggest that the film is expected to earn a whopping Rs 4-5 crore on its opening day alone.
The screenplay for ‘Article 370’ has been written by Aditya Dhar, the director of the acclaimed films ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, and ‘Runway 34’. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar, the film promises to offer a gripping narrative that resonates with audiences.
