Thiruvananthapuram: Yami Gautam’s latest movie, ‘Article 370,’ has struck gold at the box office, accumulating significant collections over its opening weekend. The film amassed an impressive total of approximately Rs. 29.05 crore within four days of its release. Yami Gautam herself shared the news with her fans via social media, revealing that the film amassed Rs. 6.12 crore on Friday, Rs. 9.08 crore on Saturday, Rs. 10.25 crore on Sunday, and Rs. 3.06 crore on Monday.
Yami Gautam delivered a commendable performance in her role as intelligence officer Zooni Haksar. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and written by Aditya Dhar, Arjun Dhawan, and the director himself, ‘Article 370’ unfolds entirely in the scenic backdrop of Jammu and Kashmir.
‘Article 370’ delves into the scenario where the central government decides to revoke Article 370 to quell separatism and terrorism in Kashmir. The film was produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. Actress Priya Mani also delivers a remarkable performance in the movie.
