Chennai: The makers of the upcoming film “Leo,” featuring Thalapathy Vijay, have decided to create a grand introductory song. It is reported that the song will involve more than 500 dancers, with the choreography being handled by dance master Dinesh.
As per reports, rehearsals for the song have been underway for the past week, and the shooting of the song itself is expected to take four days. A massive set has been constructed in Film City, Chennai, specifically for this purpose.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, this film marks his second collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, making it his fourth project with Thalapathy.
In a recent interview, producer Lalith Kumar mentioned that Vijay expressed his desire to have the audio launch take place outside of Chennai. He suggested conducting it in Trichy, Coimbatore, or Madurai, and the team is currently exploring the possibilities.
The producer also revealed their plans to release the film in 1,500 screens in the United States alone.
The cast of the film includes Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, and Sanjay Dutt. The Director of Photography is Manoj Paramahamsa, and the editing is handled by Philomin Raj.
The film is slated to release on October 19, 2023, and the first look of the movie is expected to be unveiled on June 22, coinciding with Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday.
Last month, another project featuring Vijay was announced tentatively titled “Thalapathy 68.” It is directed by Venkat Prabhu, with Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music. Further details about the film are yet to be confirmed.
