Dulquer Salmaan fans are eagerly anticipating updates on his upcoming projects following the success of “Chup” and “Sita Ramam.” The teaser for his next film, King of Kotha (KOK) is scheduled to release on June 28. Previously, the makers had unveiled the motion poster and announced the teaser release date. In an exciting development, Zee Studios South has revealed that Mammootty, Mahesh Babu, Silambarasan TR, and Rakshit Shetty will launch the teaser in their respective languages.
Mammootty will release the Malayalam teaser for “King of Kotha” on Wednesday at 6 pm. Abhilash Joshiy, the son of famous filmmaker Joshiy, makes his directorial debut with the film. The film was written by Abhilash N Chandran, well known for his work on “Porinju Mariam Jose,” and is a gangster tale that spans various timelines.
Alongside Dulquer, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nyla Usha, Shanthi Krishna, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Sudhi Koppa, and Anikha Surendran in prominent roles. Actress Ritika Singh is also expected to make a special appearance for a dance number. Shaan Rahman and Jakes Bejoy composed the soundtrack.
The makers had previously shared a motion poster introducing the intriguing characters of KOK in a captivating sketch format titled, “People of Kotha”. His portrayal of the King exudes intensity, building excitement among the audience.
“King of Kotha,” produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios, is slated for an Onam release in the month of August. The film, with a pan-Indian appeal, will be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
