New Delhi: While delivering a speech about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pakistan Minister Sheikh Rashid received an electric shock through the microphone. The video of his reaction has left the internet in splits.
The video was shared on Twitter by Pakistani journalist Naila Inayat, with the caption, “Sheikh Rasheed k mic mein Modi ne current bhej diya” (Modi has sent current to Sheikh Rasheed’s mic).

In the video, Sheikh Rashid begins to address the crowd and suddenly receives an electric shock from the microphone in his hand. Rashid shrieks, “Ooi current lag gaya. Khair koi baat nahi. Mera khayal hai current aa gaya hai. (Ooi, I’ve got an electric shock. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. I think the power is back.)”
The audience responded with a roar of laughter and then he continued, ” Ye Modi is jalse ko nakaam nahi kar sakta. (This Modi cannot spoil this gathering.)”
The video has gone viral and the Twitterati cannot hold back trolling the minister. One such funny tweet came that said, “Kya Motabhai @narendramodi bachhe ki jaan loge kya??” (Big brother, will you take the life of this little child?)
