The Supreme Court directed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to conduct examination for 11 first-year students whose attendance was low due to COVID 19.
Eleven students of AIIMS Gorakhpur had moved the Apex Court seeking its direction to allow them to sit in the first-year examinations and filed a petition under Article 32 of the Indian Constitution.
A bench of the Apex Court, headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao, in its order, directed AIIMS to conduct examinations.
The AIIMS Gorakhpur had earlier refused to allow 11 students with low attendance to sit for the first-year examinations.
