Air India Express rolled out new guidelines for the passengers travelling to India, making it mandatory for them to submit negative RT-PCR test report on their website prior to departure. The number of positive cases in India is again on the rise and new restrictions have also been implemented in states where the positive cases percentage is more. The Centre has also sent multi-disciplinary teams to five states with more number of cases.

“All the passengers travelling to India must carry the original negative RT-PCR test report with the test conducted within 72 hours of the scheduled departure. Fill in the self-declaration form on Air Suvidha Portal and upload the negative RT-PCR test report prior to departure. Carry a print out of self-declaration and RT-PCR test update done on Air Suvidha while checking in,” Air India Express tweeted.

All passengers are advised to download and install Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phones before boarding, it added.
