Nirmala Sitharaman joined the BJP Vijaya Yatra in Kochi on Sunday and accused the Pinarayi Vijayan led Government for giving all the state budget money to Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).

“In Union Budget they do not give all the money to one organisation. Kerala Budget was presented and I do not to why they had to give all the money to one organisation. There is no law and order in the state,” said Nirmala Sitharaman.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan lashed out at the opposition and alleged that it was trying to tarnish the reputation of Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB).

“The Left Democratic Front Government brought basic infrastructure development fund in the state through KIIFB. The previous Congress Government did not understand the need of Basic Infrastructure.  The LDF has given importance to basic infrastructure and KIIFB was started for this purpose,” said Pinarayi Vijayan.

He further said that, “Higher education in the state has seen a huge change after the introduction of new courses under KIIFB. Online portal has been started to register the names of unemployed people, especially women who quit their jobs after marriage. More than 50,000 people registered and the Government is in touch with companies around the World.”
