The National Investigation Agency has taken the suspended police officer Sachin Waze to recreate the crime scene at Mukesh Ambani’s house ‘Antilia’. The agency recreated the crime scene as part of the ongoing investigation.
A car loaded with explosive materials was found parked outside Antilia on February 25. After investigation, the owner of the car Mansukh Hiren was found dead in a creek on March 5, in Thane.
Assistant Police Inspector in the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) Police, Sachin Waze was transferred to the Citizen Facilitation Centre at Mumbai Police Headquarters after his name came up in Mansukh Hiren’s death case. He was arrested and sent to NIA custody till March 25.
After NIA, Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad will be seeking custody of Sachin Waze in connection with the investigation.
Waze had moved Thane court seeking anticipatory bail. The court will hear his plea on March 30.
