Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the sound of bombs is being heard in the state instead of Rabindra sangeet in West Bengal.

While addressing a public rally at West Bengal’s Joypur, Rajnath Singh said that, “bomb-making factories are seen from a place where Vivekananda’s message used to propagate and sound of bombs replaced the sound of Rabindra sangeet in the state.”

“I am absolutely sure that BJP will win more than 200 seats in West Bengal polls. No one is an outsider here because everyone is born in our motherland. BJP Government will provide security to every person in the state and will not discriminate on the basis of their ideology,” said Rajnath Singh.

West Bengal Assembly Election will be held in eight phases starting from March 27 with the final round of voting taking place on April 29. The counting of votes will take place on May 2.
