Amid rising Covid-19 cases in Bengaluru, the Karnataka government on Wednesday imposed more restrictions under Section 144 of CrPC in city limits from today.
The government has prohibited the operation of swimming pools, gymnasiums, party halls etc in apartments and residential complexes in Bengaluru city limits, according to the order.
The order also said pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants shall host visitors in more than 50 per cent seating capacity.
No shopping malls, markets, departmental stores or any other place of public gathering shall function without strict enforcement of covid appropriate behavior like wearing mask, physical distancing, provision of hand sanitizer, hand wash. If there is any violation of the protocol such facility establishment shall be closed unity order stated.
Prohibitory order will remain in force, in all parts of the Bangalore city police commissioner till April 20 night.
